BTC offers housing, medical care, a village mentor, and monthly allowances for food and transportation. The organization currently sponsors eleven students living in Ndejje Village outside of Kampala; many of whom have lost one or both parents to the AIDS epidemic. The goal of BTC is to holistically care for these students by offering a family environment for those who are orphaned in the hopes that it can create a sense of responsibility for themselves and their community. Happy Birthday Chicago

On Friday, November 14, 2008, Broadway's six-time Tony Award-winning smash hit musical CHICAGO celebrated two major milestones: its 12th Anniversary and its 5,000th performance on The Great White Way. Chicago was the first Broadway show that I saw back in 1998 and then became my Broadway debut 8 years later. Congratulations to a wonderful production that keeps on kickin!

Peaceful Protest

The protest that took place at the Mormon Temple in NYC on November 12th was a galvanizing occasion. The unity and energy within the crowd was tangible and the voices of an estimated 15,000 were heard throughout the city. I was proud to walk along side friends, strangers and my older brother in solidarity. Thank you to those who organized the peaceful demonstration and to those who attended.

Prop 8 Protest in New York at Mormon Temple AGAINST HATE

Tens of thousands of our brothers and sisters are in the streets in California and Salt Lake City and around the country protesting the votes banning same-sex marriage in California.

Join them! Make your voices heard right here in New York City.

Tell the Mormon Church how we feel about its relentless campaign to condemn and control peoples lives. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was, by far, the biggest financer of California's Proposition 8. The Mormon Church poured 20 million dollars into the Prop 8 campaign. They are plotting to bring their money and influence to bear against the LGBT community everywhere in this country, including trying to prevent marriage equality in New York.

Nick's at the Palace....

I am shooting the cover of Instinct Magazine today in NYC at the legendary Palace Theatre. The world’s most famous vaudeville house from 1913 until the 1930’s—when talking pictures killed vaudeville—the Palace was bought by the Nederlanders in 1965, beautifully renovated and became a legit theatre in 1966. Its the perfect venue to capture the essence of Broadway and I am looking forward to the Dec/Jan Issue of the magazine that will feature the shots. Bruno Rand, who has shot me once before for 2xist , will be the photographer.

Yes We Can!

I'm still riding high from Obama's election. It was the first time in my life that I was moved to tears through politics and subsequently the first time I've ever felt an overwhelming sense of patriotism. I am proud of our country and look forward to the progress we will make. Thank you to everyone who voted.
