I am still out of the show with a sprained ankle. I went to see the doctor this morning and had physical therapy as well. I am hoping to return to the show by tuesday evening. I am taking it day by day right now. I'll be sure to let you know when I am back onstage. For now, the lovely Grant Turner will be playing Larry while I am out.

So I sprained my ankle during the opening number tonight and was out for the rest of the show. Its so frustrating and I apologize to anyone in the audience tonight. I hopefully will have a fast recovering and be back on stage as soon as possible. A big sorry to Brandon who came to see me tonight!

29 years ago

So my first performance in A Chorus Line was on July 24th 2007. My mother and grandmother were at this performance. As fate would have it, 29 years earlier TO THE DAY, they both were in the audience of the original production of A Chorus Line!

Saturday August 18th I will be present at the Dance Teacher Summer Conference 2007 here in NYC. I will be available with two other cast members for autographs and to answer questions about Broadway, show business, and A Chorus Line.

family ties

I am thrilled that my Dad and stepmother will be at saturday nights performance. This will be their first time seeing me in the show. The first Broadway show that my Dad saw was A Chorus Line in 1977 so this will be a very special day for both of us. I love you Dad! Can't wait to have you in the audience!

So a shout out is required to the Pirate Queen fans that continue to see A Chorus Line. Thank you guys so much for coming out again to see me! You make me feel very special! The show is going very well. After a two show day I am ready for sleep.

farewell!

Jason Tam gave his final performance as Paul this past sunday. We will all miss Jason and the amazing work that he shared with us. We look forward to welcoming Brian Knowlton to the cast tuesday night. Brian rehearsed with the rest of the new cast for three weeks before we joined the company last month. So, come check him out in the show. Goodbye Jason! You will be missed.

Thank you to my previous castmates from PQ for coming to see ACL. It is so great to see you and I miss you all a great deal. Everyone should see Don Brewer in Les Mis....he is great.
